hi. i am having a debate in class so i needed your opinion.
what do you guys think about same sex marriage? my teacher put me on the against side so it would be the best telling me about the cons of same-sex marriage. thank you

Below, please find a great site with a huge list of arguments for and against. I am personally for, but I like what your teacher is doing, it makes ya think.
Try to give the subject some thought yourself as well. If you have a little debate inside your head, it will help you prepare for the real one.
Keep in mind that two men (or two women) are not able to reproduce without artificial help, and argue that the original intent of marriage was to establish a relationship *and* bear children.

ADDED after original answer: Another excellent point to make is that for a marriage to be legal it has to be basically allowed by the state. Most Americans oppose same-sex marriage according to most polls, and the United States is a democracy. So, it should not be allowed because most people don't think it should be!
(Note that I disagree with this. BUT, it is a good point...)

1. Same sex marriage will not reproduce next generation. If everyone in this world engaged on same sex marriage, there will be no reproduction of man-kind. Is that what we want to see ?
2. Against the teaching of God's word.
3. This happens only in human being. Have you found it in animals ? It is against natural.

I think its as bad as any other marriage lol. Honestly I dont see the problem. Let them get married, its not hurting me.
