Look at K Street Gang. Republicans created or at least kept their mouth shut about the K Street Gang because Republicans wanted to control by any means the national agenda. The results are going to be a dynamic and wide spread repudiation of Republican rule and leadership in the Congress of the United States for many years to come.
The obvious fall back position for the Republicans is to blame the Democrats for the failure of the Iraq War, but the Republicans were in control of every branch of Government as the Iraq War started in 2003 and proceeded for four years, longer than WW11 lasted lasted to control the War and fail to resolve the War during that period.
And now that the War is lost all the Republicans want to accomplish is turning the War over to the Democrats in the vain effort to transfer the responsiblility of the War to the Democrats rather than join in with the Democrats to resolve the Iraq War in a manner of cooperative disingagement? Why can they not admit failure?

Ahhhh you got your facts a bit...well...wrong.
Teh authorization for the war in Iraq was in 2002. That was when the DEMOCRATS controlled the Senate by one vote (don't you remember Tom Daschle?).
I do love your thing about K street gang. 'Either they created or they benefitted from them' COMPLETELY ignoring that we only have two parties and if they didn't create them...the Democrats did and regardless the democrats also benefitted from them. Maybe it was the Green party that created the k street gang.
Now for the war....calling you on your comments.
Is there a time that war should be used?
How long should a war last before we give up?
What defines victory and loss in a war?
Until you answer these, there is no point in talking to you about the war as you would not have a position about it.

IMO we could make a assessment I quite tend to think of (D) lean to a socialistic known with their perspectives on wealthfare taxing the prosperous the thank you to run your buisness etc. NOw we could take a glance at how some socialistic countries have carried out, we've u.s. now thats what you call a depresion Vietnam wager they desearve a splash credit, so how can u blame the melancholy on (r) whilst historic previous has set a precendent that socialism doesnt paintings?
