yes I do wonder that. Makes me sad because they are not the person I believed them to be and hurts to know they don't care as much as I did. =(

Yes, I've wondered about that, too. Any so-called "friend" who would throw away your friendship isn't worth your time and energy...that friend lost out on having you as their friend. There are some people who are fair-weathered friends who seem like good friends, but when you need them the most, they are not there for you. You'll find that some friends will come and go in your life, and some friends will outgrow the friendship and move on...try not to take it personally.

When you find a TRUE friend, it's like finding a valuable gem.

Always. I always think about my past relationship and wonder how the hell he could just throw away everything we had together to be with other girls. And also how by best friend could throw away our friendship to be with him behind my back. I wish I knew why people do such things. It makes no sense.

Well it depends who thinks it's important and meaningful! If one thinks it isn't, then it isn't. My horrible, bullying ex-husband said something very like that when I told him I wanted a divorce. The point was that what we had was rubbish, not worth keeping, and that was why, as he put it, I was "just going to throw it away".

It took me a long time to realize that people come and go in your life. When the purpose of the relationship is no longer needed by that other person they move on.
You'll have friends for a reason- school project, vacation pal...
You'll have friends for a season- sports, school class, job...
And friends that are there for life.

Yes, I often wonder that myself. It's sad how some people take love and friendship for granted. I would never do that. Life's too short to be alone.

Best wishes!

Sometimes it's because only one of the people feels that it's a meaningful relationship, and sometimes some people don't realize what they have til they actually lose it!!

It's happened to me a whole lot of times. These ppl were never really your friends or mates anyways, if they can throw it away that easily.

Yes I have wondered about that...but there has to be a reason.I think it is not knowing why that hurts the most.So be careful what you one day throw away ....it won't be there if you want it again !

No, in those situations I wonder how could I be so blind and not seeing whom I give an importance to.
