It's not that we know the end -- it's how we handle the life. We are all here to learn something, to do something. What is your mission? How will you perform it? Will you do it well enough to be remembered after you are gone?
It's like reading a book with a cliff hanger at the end of each chapter. You have to keep turning the pages to see what happens next. You do that even if you know that boy will get girl or the good guy will win in the end or the cavalry will show up before the wagon train is destroyed. It isn't that you know the ending -- you want to know how they got there.

Living is like taking an adventurous holiday for 70-80 years. You will only take this 'holiday' for a moment and then you have to go back to where you belong..
And when it's time for you to die, and you look back, i am sure that you are glad that, for once, you have lived on this earth. And that you are able to answer to yourself that you have lived well, you have no regrets, no guilt and the people that you have left behind only have nice memories of you...
The point of living is, you are living for someone else. To the world you might just be one person, but to one person you might be the world.
The question is not 'what is the point of living' but 'how do i live my life'...
Agree? Good Luck!

There is no death if there is no life.
The point of living...is because you are an answer to somebody's prayer. You have a purpose. Typing this question may not matter to you but it may matter to someone. Your life may be pointless to you but it might be the reason why someone is living his/her life.

Perhaps youll do something that will matter in a hundred years, of course thats not answering your question. I think if you enjoy living then you should keep living, if you dont then i guess theres no point for it. Dying is easy, staying alive takes some work.

It's the same reason I watch my favorite movie over and over again even when I already know the ending. I like the characters, the plot, the costumes, the music, the dialogue. I like all the emotions and excitement and even the disappointment. I focus on the journey, not the destination.

Because, life sucks, but it always beats the alternative! Life carries with it a 100% probability of death, The point is what you do with it! If your a dog its, if I can't eat it our screw it then piss on it and walk away, if your a hero, its, how can I die a glorious death! The number one rule of life is DON'T DIE!!!

Knowing you must one day embrace the darkness.
How can you not play while your sun yet shines.
Life is here to make life. Why remain silent when you can echo through eternity.
If death renders life meaningless, does it not also emasculate despair?
Mope if you like, seems like a silly thing to do with your one and only life though.

The point of living, knowing that death awaits, is to live well and meet death with the knowledge that one has lived well.

what's the point of farting if you know it's gonna stink up the joint?
Just kidding, I'm merely making my point. Why not enjoy life when you know you have only one life to live. While you're at it, think about my farting comment and how what you do can have impact on others. If you life can make your life so fun with such joy, it's gotta rub off on others.... choose to inspire my friend.
