If you're not going to benefit from being a 'lone wolf' but you think everything everyone is doing is completely stupid. is it still better to make your own path or follow the flock?

It is possible to run with the pack, but still not be a sheep. You can think or feel that everyone around you is stupid, but still interact and benifit from that social network.

It is ALWAYS better to make your own path. Usually this comes from that in passion inside you that others just don't understand. A long time ago I heard that the one thing that distinguishes the rich from the poor is that the poor encourage their children to conform and the rich encourage their children to break out of the mold.
