I've just moved in a new town home.The main door is not secure because there are windows around it.I want some affordable security system..... is any available in home depot or any other place.

You can systems and install them but you will only have an alarm. If you go with one of the companies you will have a central station to monitor you home. Now for me because I live a very safe place I wouldn't but either one. Have you thought of just putting in tempered glass that is much harder to break in the windows?
If you live someplace that makes you feel unsafe how about a dog? Cheap to feed and gives lots of love.

get some keyed dead bolts and use those. That way even if they break the window they still will not be able to use the door. Also get a proximity dector and put one both inside and out side the door. It will tell you if someone is approaching the door on the outside or whether the door opens or not. Easy and not to expensive. and available at home depot.

I am not sure about home depot, but you can get systems from companies in your area very cheap. You can get burglar bars and install them.
