1. I'm a sahm and homeschooler of 3.
2. Our family has fiscally and physically combined households with my SW/MIL. Who has helped tremendously with money, household duties, and childcare.
3. Transfer option available for husband. She can come with, but I'm saying she can't live with anymore.
4. Husband thinks I'm stepping on her generosity with selfishness.
5. I think I like having my own space, my own rules, and my own control over my own enviroment.
6. She's not controling, in general genial, and the kids love having her around, but she wants to buy.
7. I want her to go, but I want her to live seperately so her smoking and cooking do not adversely affect our health.

9. I liked it better when we lived close by, but in two separate places.

Two families in one home can be stressful due to different ways of thinking. If you want to have your family separate, your husband should understand. You should not be obligated to live with your inlaws forever.

smoking around the kids ! I would not put my kids health at risk even if i loved this person !!!! come on use ur brain .. i know ur a smart lady !!
