I think it's safe to say we are in the worst shape we've been in since the '60s. The government is a bit out of control like they did in the '50s trying to convince everyone that Communists were everywhere!

Short answer, yes.

Long answer: We are the country that fought an eight year war based on the idea of "no taxation without representation." We are the same country that sent troops into unrepresented territories to enforce a whiskey tax a few years after that eight year war.

We are the country that said "All men are created equal." Yet, we are the same country that, due to racial and sexual prejudice, is still led predominately by rich, white men.

We are the same USA of old. Granted, we do have a few highlights on our resume. It seems lately, though, that we seem to only cause problems, and not learn from our past mistakes (Vietnam).

Must be new to Yahoo. All you got to do is read some of the comments. If your opinion differs from others you get rude answers. It's that why across the country. Disrespect and rudeness. It's not really free anymore.

Why not?
Just skills and technology advance in time.
And we all did not advance in time.
Ever wonder why little horror chucky were making a mess in shaking and waking us up without being aware of the mess out there?

Every inch of it.Don't go by minor issues here and there. If it were not so,enemies of America would have begun to gnaw at us,long time ago.The American story is intact, thriving and kicking.
