Good luck on your project, sounds like fun.

Your station will need a way to purify wastes, recycle water and air, grow food, It's a mini earth.. You will need a doctor, a botanist to care for plants, engineer, and science staff..You can really let your imagination go wild with this one. have fun.

Well, 2 of the six people should have agricultural training to take care of the plantings for food, oxygen, waste disposal, etc. At least one person is going to have to have heavy training in plumbing to maintain the distribution system for the fluids and gases. If the station is going to use natural sunlight for growth, then the solar panel systems for generating electricity are also going to have mechanisms for shading the overwhelming light or for redirecting it, which is a different kind of mechanism than plumbing. To be self-sustaining, the computer electronics and the high power electrical systems will have to be maintained.
Cycles
Water recycling
Solid waste recycling (composting)
Electrical generation and storage (batteries or fuel cells)
Oxygen-CO2 generation and regeneration
Plant growth - Food growing - Fertilizing
Heat/Cooling distribution to prevent over heating.
And then there has to be someone in charge and one or two of these people better be a radio guy.
