I don't have a hearing aid, but I find it difficult to hear my post office customers through the glass - and it's even worse if there is other noise, such as my colleague talking to a customer or the printing machines going.
We have a portable hearing loop but as I don't have a hearing aid, that can't help me. Any advice? Thank you!

Here is one product: http://www.speakerbus.com/products/security_intercom_counter.html

And this one looks cheaper, and maybe more suitable:

And this one looks like they sell everything separately, and might be cheaper still.

However......this is not a cheap solution, and I suggest a 'home' intercom, might just have to do. Here is what I mean. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=23041&criteria=counter%20intercom&doy=21m9

But, they should just call one of the first companies I have pasted, and pay-up.

I couldn't imagine having to strain to hear my customers all day. It would drive me mad.

Good Luck.

U need a microphone like they have in a bank, think it works on same principles as a hearing aid loop, see this website for more info, maybe even give them a ring
