Well, of course you are looking for a biased answer that states the Steelers are way better overall than the Cowboys, just because they have put up more hall of famers..
While I would love to indulge you, as I am a life long Cowboy hater...but a Redskins fan. I can not indulge you here based on this stat. It just doesn't play. The Hall of Fame is a political realm that really is not a true measure of which teams are better than others.
Besides, it may be that the Steelers have more HOF's from their dominating period in the 70's. That does not automatically translate to being better overall.
The Steelers, 49ers and Cowboys all have 5 Superbowl wins, so regardless of how many players each has in the HOF, they are all equal in terms of best overall team..per the stats.

You might want to look a little closer - 9 of the inductees listed as Steelers were with them before the Cowboys even existed. Since the Cowboys began playing, they have had 16 hall of famers associated with them, and in that same time period, the Steelers have had 13.
Of course, both these totals pale in comparison to the 31 from the greatest franchise in NFL history - the Chicago Bears.

Due to the rich history of the Cowboys from the 1960s, 1970s and 1990s, one would assume that the Cowboys would have a large number of inductees to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. However, they do not. Many have raised strong arguments asking why many Cowboys legends have been snubbed by the Hall's induction committee, especially those who played during the decade of the 1970s. On the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 1970s all-decade team (selected by the same group as the one charged with picking the inductees), there are six Dallas Cowboys (Drew Pearson, Rayfield Wright, Roger Staubach, Harvey Martin, Bob Lilly, and Cliff Harris) and eight Pittsburgh Steelers (Lynn Swann, Mike Webster, Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, L.C. Greenwood, "Mean" Joe Greene, Jack Ham and Jack Lambert)*. Of those, only three Cowboys have been inducted (Wright, Staubach and Lilly) versus seven Steelers (all but Greenwood).

Cowboys have nothing to complain about after the 1995 gift from the Steelers putting them ahead at that time in the Super Bowl count. Thanks Steeler's organization, Cowboy fans everywhere love you despite Terry Bradshaw.

I am a dyed-in-the-wool Steeler fan myself. That being said, we should have more Hall of Famers in Canton than the Cowboys because we have been around for 30 years longer than the Boys.

If your point is that the Cowboys suck, then I agree. The Redskins are right behind you with 21 (I count Art Monk even if those idiots haven't yet).
