How to be friends with guys?

I get along much better with guys than I do with girls. I like their company a lot. However, most of the guys I meet or hang out with are interested in dating, and a lot of the time I will really like them but won't feel we are compatible for whatever reason.

Usually they will say that they are okay with "being friends," but eventually it becomes clear that they want more and the friendship ends when they realize it's not going to happen.

I am single and want to meet someone but I only want to be with the "right" guy. I would love to have more friends but so far haven't figured out how to make platonic friendships work.

(I don't have anything against women except that they are so catty and always seem to put their boyfriends before their friends, and I find this really annoying since I don't have one.)

Lol, your pretty smart, but that aside lets figure this out. Really your position with guys is good at allowing you to be more comfrontable with them, excellent, but you running into the fact that most of them just want to screw (thats the truth really) is a VERY common thing, so don't loss heart. Really when you find that person who can treat you for more then all that, the whole relationship/sex thing isn't going to be a hang up, just don't expect it at an young age, its rare and chances are your not going to find that until college or there after. But the other good part is you'll find better lady friends to, just realize were all in a bit of a confused, don't know what were doing, god I hope love or drugs can save me know type of mentaility so be patient, you'll find someone who sees thru this and wants a geniune relaitonship like you. JUST DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS!!!! Lets just say if you ever have kiddos, there going to reap the benifits, or feel the pain EVEN more then you, think about that when you find that love....
