A person on a trampoline bounces straight upward with an initial speed of 4.6 m/s. What is the magnitude of the person's speed when she returns to her initial height?
what is the V final? (m/s)

Assuming the velocity is when the tramp is flat (feet just leaving, no more force applied) the speed when she returns is 4.6 m/s downward, just the opposite of the launch.
If the launch is called +4.6 then the final is -4.6
