Yes,it is a lot more than that.
The U.S has a battle that is universal in the world, lack of compassion.
People need to be less judgmental of others, and show more compassion for their fellow man.

Yes, there's more. The country itself, while being colonized by illegals, is being changed, one election at a time, from a Republic to a Social Democracy and finally to a Socialist State.
Being rich and giving billions in aid to practically every country on earth has earned only the animosity of most of those countries, which pretty well indicates that the leaders of those countries don't let their people see the money we send.
The United Nations is pretty much a joke, and yet they have sovereignty over that small piece of Manhattan where the UN building resides. The delegates sat there and cheered when Venezuela's Chavez stood at the podium and called our president the Devil.
Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and OJ Simpson are treated as "news" with feverish packs of reporters dogging their footsteps to get the scoop for us, the gullible public.
Wages have been so inflated by unions over the years that we, the citizens of this country, can no longer really afford to buy products manufactured on our own soil, so jobs must be outsourced.
Frivolous lawsuits abound, and frivolous judges free criminals because they're too short or too pretty to go to prison.
I could actually go on and on, but I need to stop here and say that despite it all, I would NOT want to live anywhere else. It's just that I wish I had at least the degree of power wielded by Oprah Winfrey and Susan Sarandon from their bully pulpits so that I could do more than lend lipservice and letters to congress to stop it.
But it's like stopping a battleship at sea. FIRST, you gotta slow it down.
