you mean keloid scarring? if that is what you mean i have the same thing. i got into a bad four wheeler accident and i had scars all over. i had to go to a private plastic surgeon and he would inject me with steroid shots. my scars were very high off my leg and elbow and they were purple. he made them go down extremely. the ones on my leg are almost all gone it is truly amazing. hope i helped and good luck! =]

i would agree with lee lee. if you are talking about a keloid scar tissue build up, a dermatologist should be able to inject it with cortizone. you can do surgery on them, but you run the risk of making it bigger. see attached for various treatment options.

i had one develop after getting my ears pierced. It was large enough that I could no longer wear earrings with backings on them. i had about 3 - 4 cortizone shots and it is almost completely gone now. My friend also had cortizone shots on her arm. She had an allergic reaction to a shot when she was a kid and had a quarter sized large keloid on her shoulder. And the cortizone helped immensly.

they will have to be proffessionally surgically removed and i dont think that is expensive just google that and talk it over with your parents
