USMC issue aviator sunglasses. The earpiece goes straight back and conforms to your head, so that they really become "your" glasses.
When my Dad was a Marine he could get them free. Now I have to pay $75 for them at an Army/Navy store. But they are worth it. They are practically indestructible.

I still wear my Oakley one piece M frames that I had as a motorcycle cop. They are really tough, look pretty cool and I absolutely love them. Now the bicycle racers like the Tour de France teams wear them too so hopefully my bike racing obsessed daughter will think I'm cool someday!
