I try to. Whenever I perform a random act of kindness for someone it makes me so happy to know that I have made someone else happy and made a difference in their day/life. It only inspires them to do the same. As a small anecdote, I was on a date with a guy when I noticed a woman wheeling a carriage drop the baby's teddy bear. I excused myself from my date, picked up the teddy bear and caught up with this woman. The woman was so happy! She told me: "I should do things like this more often!"
The feeling one has after being kind is indescribable.
You can make a difference in someone's life!

Performing random acts of kindness is such a wonderful feeling.
Doesn't take money/material possessions, if you haven't any, only a kind and sharing heart.
Not only do these deeds cheer me and the receiver but it shows grouchy, crabby, negative people, there is still good in this world.

I do because it is incredibly fulfilling to make someone smile.
I used to have a book called, well, "Random Acts of Kindness", and the story I always remember is this:
There was a man who owned a grocery store at the bottom of a really steep hill in San Francisco. Every day, he would look out and see people who were too afraid to drive up. So, he'd go out and offer to drive them to the top. I think that that's very sweet.

As often as possible as I like doing nice things for people especially my sweetheart who I love to surprise with gifts. I like to pay the bill sometimes at dinner for people. I think though the most rewarding and kindness act I ever done was talking to a cancer patient in the transplant ward at North 5 at Indiana University Med Center last year with my sweetheart and giving him some hope as I'm a cancer survivor and had 2 stem cell augmuous rescue transplants along with high dose chemo in 96. I prayed for him and told him I loved him and it was God that led me to do this and gave me the greatest feeling in the world helping out a fellow human being.

Depends on what you call kindness. There have been several times I've seen 2 girls togeather 1 was awesome the other well we will just say bow wow. But they need to feel good too so I say "Has anybody ever told you how good looking you are" And when the beautiful one says "Yes all the time" I then say "I wasn't talking to you but you're friend"
I see a lot of smiles from them... (Not the Hot one)

I love this question.... I do... all the time... sometimes I have to remind myself to do them... but I think it makes for a better world..
That was one of my top resolutions when I hit 40, to start doing more for others... and it's been an amazing 7 months since I have been making a strong effort to do this...
I recommend everyone try this at least once this weekend...

Nice question.... yes... of course and everytime I do it, i feel warmth coming from the heart. I also want to share those act of things I've done and you can do too...
Giving alms to the needy
greeting along proffessors and authorities as you meet them
helping out a friend in real deep troubles
a simple gift to parents or a simple kiss to them (to the family)
with a group/class, we teach small communities as a review to help them in their school... they are High school and elementary students.
praying to God...
we can all do it everytime as our hearts commnand us to.
