I wish I didn't hafta hear all the sick details of the things people do to children and animals. I try to avoid it, but sometimes, like with the whole Michael Vick thing, it is talked about so much by so many people that you can't escape it. That sort of stuff weighs heavy on my heart and mind.

Yes. I was trying to avoid hearing my parents have sex. You probably didn't want to hear that but that's the only time.

never! i would rather sacrifice hearing annoying/bad things than not hear at all

but, i have a strong ability to block out what i don't want to hear (call it self-induced ADD or what have you)
