ADvertise: to call attention to something else
ADjunct: something added to another object but not essential
to it.
ADjective: word used to modify another, but cannot stand
alone.
ADhesion: union of normally separate parts
ADhesive: coated with glue, paste, etc. to make it stick to
something else.

PARAmedic--person trained to provide emergency medical
treatment or to assist a doctor.
PARAlegal--attorney's assistant who can usually do anything
within the legal field (research, etc), except practice
law.
PARAprofessional--person trained to assist a doctor,
lawyer, teacher, etc. but who is not licensed to
practice in the profession.
