Not in the least! I have other things better to do than to worry about some stupid racism crap. I can say that I'm not going to raise my daughter to see the likes of ignorance and screwed up individuals who thinks racism is cool or with justification. I would hope that everyone learns to live with each other. We all never asked to be here but we are, so let us live and work with one another without hate or jealousy. It is easier to explain it to the young on why people suck so much. Lets try to make it suck less! You only live once. Why screw with that just because others are being fools? Don't make sence at all. Wish all the moo poop would be flushed down the latrine. Anyhow, You seem unenthusiastic about it and that is great! Have a brilliant night.

No, I'm not shocked. There has been a media frenzy covering 1/2 the story and making the victims of this ordeal out to be the 6 kids who attacked 1 kid....who lay unconscious on the floor of the hallway while being kicked and stomped. As far as those of us who live in Mississippi and Louisiana, discrimination is not the way of the land "their" or did you mean there? Discrimination occurs in these states as well as others...and discrimination in these two states is not always against blacks...as the media always seems to portray. Wilkinson County Mississippi elections from August...case in point....white voters were intimidated and left off of polling lists/prevented from voting. A white candidate's house was torched after his wife protested that her husband's civil rights had been violated, etc., etc., etc. I didn't see any national media coverage there....just some local coverage in area newspapers and baton rouge news channels. Yes, discrimination exist here....just as sure as it does in other areas of the country....but just not the discrimination you only hear about in the media.

By the way, the kid who was beaten was not one of the kids who hung the noose. None of these kids were right for the things they did, but the kid that remains in jail has 4 previous violent crimes charges against him before this. He needs to start learning from his mistakes. The other boys need community service/probation....the same sentence dealt to the white guy who attacked Bell at the party before the Jena 6 attack occurred.

Another case of Jesse and the gang trying to change facts to fit their model. Putting ropes on a tree does not equate to putting someone in the hospital. If it were 6 white boys beating up a black then the same protesters would be there demanding harsh punishment. Racism has no place in this country and the sooner people understand it the better this country will be. The school took down the tree to end the ruckus and minimize the damage. Naturally those racist leaders like Jackson rushed to get in front of the cameras and the media catered to them. Whatever happens the country will be the victim not those boys who were charged over beating up the white kid. I am tired of blacks twisting things to fit their molds. Lets recognize what is right and wrong. Blowing this thing up is not right.

I'm not shocked. If you actually look at the event time line you will quickly see the media is making this a national race issue. The simple story is 6 black kids (under 18) jumped ( ganged up on) one white kid. The first hit knocked the white kid out and the black kids proceeded to beat a unconscious white kid for a while. Some kids stopped school officials from responding and what not. The district attorney decided to press 2nd degree murder charges against the black kids because they were beating a unconscious person. They could have killed him. Now some people are marching and demanding the black kids be let off with a lesser charge. I doubt they would be there had the race roles been reversed.

What kind of low life , scum bags would keep kicking someone who was already unconscious and defenseless?

That would be the lowly Jena Six... who need to rot in prison and then in hell.

No I was not shock at all, we have two sets of law for the same crimes no matter what. The black always pays a bigger price. My God Son was told by the police to admit to a crime he did not committ in order to go home he did and they gave him 20 years for his first offense. Now had he been white, he would have gotten probation only. Those people see no wrong in what they have done, the bell young man would have gone to the NFL from what I heard. I think they did not want to see this happen. How can some one in their right mind think they are right to put these boys in jail for fighting and not put the white kids in jail for their hate crime. Is there anything wrong with this picture.

In some ways...I knew it would take a protest for the charges to drop. I'm shocked that the DA could up the crime to attempted murder 2.

Who cares? It's a different day and age. Things are going to start mattering for ALL races. No more "it's only a hate crime if it's white on black". Everyone is going to start paying for hate crimes and it's about damn time. Jackson and Sharpton are irrelevant racists and 1960's dinosaurs. Them coming to any event automatically marginalizes the entire occurence if you ask me. Someday The ignorant blacks will realize they are just modern day slave masters, the smart ones sure do.

Shocked and disgusted by the protests, how about the other side protesting to.

EDIT: I guess we have prejudice here to right?
Just look at all the thumbs down on this one question. Looks like anyone who defended the "white"boy gets thumbs down.

Any one that lives in Louisiana or Mississippi knows that discrimnation is the way it is their. I have been to those places and that's just the way it is. Not saying it's right, just is.
