The Cheesecake Factory (has a huge menu of all types of foods and great deserts), Pappadeux's (very good seafood and cajun restaurant), P. F Chang's (asian, very good potions), Campisi's Italian Restaurant (wonderful italian and the best pizza ever!), Mi Cocina Mexican Restaurant (very popular good mexican restaurant), just a few suggestions of some yummy restaurants in the Dallas area from each food category.
.
..try going to www.guidelive.com they offer tons of reviews and listings of all the restaurants in the DFW area.

in case you quite prefer to eat properly in Dallas, indexed right here are my favorites: a million. Fearings (on the Ritz Carlton) 2. The previous Warsaw 3. St Martin's (on Greenville) 4. Mansion inn on Turtle Creek 5. Cafe on the fairway (on the 4 Seasons in Irving, TX) BTW, Olive backyard, Outback, Carino's are rubbish in comparison with my concepts.

A hibachi place is always fun for a group and there are several in the area. I would normally suggest Kobe in Addison, but it is closed for renovation so you might try Benihanas - there is one near LBJ and Central or the new Tomo Sushi and Hibachi in Plano on Central.

I would suggest Howard Wang's or Fernando's because they have marvelous food, but not for too much. Another option is Suze's, its more fancy then the other two but is still equally cheap.

Magic Time Machine is fun. Blue Mesa Grill is tasty! Oh, I also hear great things about the fondue places (Melting pot.)

I recall going to Magic Time Machine one year so you might want to look into their prices.
