I have moments when I noticeably exude confidence, but when i fail at something it takes it down a notch. I do pick myself up again time and time again I never quit, but I want to just get it right. But, pretty soon I may quit cause it never turns out well. To be more specific I naturally dont do well in social situations, so I "act" like a person who is comfortable in social situations. Now this works for a few days, but then falls apart because hey I am not naturally great at social situations so I can only do so much. How should I go about this situation? I am going to call it quits soon

Just be yourself, find like-minded people and enjoy it. You're wasting your time and time is not unlimited. If you don't fit in and are uncomfortable, get out and find a place that you do. Why would you want to be anyone other than yourself? You have low self esteem. Why? I don't know. Take a good look at yourself. What is good about you? Be honest. Anything you don't like, do something about it. Don't waste your time acting like someone else. Be all you can be and then you will have that confidence you are looking for. . .

You didn't state the problem clear enough to give feedback.

Is it the lack of comfort in social situations? Do you have to change that?

It takes time...look for help whether from a person or book. And a big problem, I do not know whether you do this or not, do not compare yourself to others.
