-15 times 3/5
-15 x (3/5) =
(-15 x 3) / 5 =
-45/5 =
-9
The limitations of this answer box make it hard to write this out the way I'd like to, but I hope you can get the idea from above.
The minus sign stays in the answer because you are taking
3/5 of -15.
Another way to look at it:
Consider 3/5 to be 60% which is what the fraction is worth in terms of a percent. 60% in decimal numbers is .0.6
If you multiply -15 by 0.6 you'll also get -9.
-15 x .6 = -9.0 = -9
OK?? Hope this helps.

-15 (3/5)
= (-15*3)/5
= -45/5
= -9
another way to solve it would be
-15(3/5)
=(-15/5) 3
=(-3)3
=-9
maybe it'd help to think of the -15 as a (-15/1)?

I'm guessing any negative times a positive equals a negative so just do it like the negative isn't there and when done, put the negative in front of thte answer, but I'd wait for a better answer as this is just a guess of desperation for you if no one else answers. so -15 x 3/5 = - 9 I think
Can you do 15x3/5 ?

(-15) X 3/5=
-3 x 3=
-9
You can take a five out of the numerator -15 and the denominator 5. Just multiply after that.
