After returning from Afghanistan in 2004, I spent two weeks in Hawaii relaxing and thinking about what to do with the rest of my life. First day after I got home, I resigned from the military.

We took a vacation to see our nephew get married and also to spend time with relatives in the surrounding areas.
It was the first time since we were married over 30 years ago that we took 2 weeks off in a row !!
Had a great time, though !!

Way back in January and it seems like years ago but I'm off to the Caribbean on Tuesday for 2 weeks of pampering !

August 9-12 I went to Cedar Point. It was awesome. One of their rollercoasters goes 120 mph. I have a picture of me and my sister riding it. You should see her face. It's a mix between pure fear and shock. ;P
