I know a soccer ball should be about 6 to 8 PSI, but I can't find a gauge that accurately measures PSI below 20. Does anyone have a "rule of thumb" so to speak for how to tell it's about right when you don't have a gauge? For example if you drop it, how high should it bounce? or When you press on it, how soft/hard should it be?

Thanks for any help!

Rules of thumb the ball should be hard but not all the way. to check this press it with your thumb it should indent a little bit. if you can not then it is overinflated.

if it brusts then it will be over inflated for sure or when you hear creeking noise then also it will over inflated.

Other than above there are two tests

1. when you hit the ball againt ground from your waist's hoeght, the ball should bounce to your chest level max.

2. you can know it watch for the sound, if it is soild metalic sound it is over.

3. Kick the ball and watch, if it over inflated it will like stone and your legs feel impact, it shoyld be little bit soft.

more that before you put in air you can measure, gauge will come along with pump will starts from 0. then pump air and measure again. the car compressor or hosehold comp, will have from 0. It will cost 5-10 $.

if you kick it
and your toe hurts
then it's over-inflated

just kinda squeeze it a liiitle bit
and if it goes in a little bit,
then you're good

If it bursts, it's probably overinflated.
