Just wanted to know when having my home appraised would a new looking fence give me a little more value.

I have been appraising for years and the quality of the existing fence has little or no effect on overall value. Now if the fence is falling down thats one thing but if its up and just needs touch up no big deal. Is this a rear or front fence? If it is in fromt of the house the difference in a pretty presentation will improve your curb appeal and help to sell the house at the price you are asking for it.
As an aside make sure your front door is blemish free and that your entry area looks great. First impressions make a big difference. Good luck

Maybe. If it is a wooden fence pressure washing can damage it.
