Isaiah Thomas recently said it was ok for a black man to call a black woman the B word, but that it is not ok for a white man to do so.
In my opinion the B word is even strong and more offensive than the H word that Imus used.

Should Thomas be fired?
Why is there no outcry from Jackson, Sharpton and the rest of those who were up in arms with Imus?
I could care less about Imus. I'm not a fan.
However, why the double standard?

If Don Imus should be fired then Isaiah Thomas should be fired (granted I dont personally think either of them should be fired), plain and simple.

You'll remember another thing, it's perfectly fine to refer to a white man as a cracker, honky, etc but we both know what happens to anyone who even SUGGESTS a name that pokes fun at blacks....

It's very simple. If you are black the world thinks you "deserve" to be able to be as racist as you want.

The Imus thing was a great miscarriage of justice but Thomas was just stating an opinion so they really don't compare. Neither should be/been harassed about it.

genuinely! it particularly is not the 1st time Imus has made insulting racial comments...and perchance if he's canned, it would desire to be the final time. How do you're saying "nappy headed hos" with out malice? in spite of the undeniable fact that, Imus isn't the only public discern who has disrespected black women individuals. What approximately Eddie Murphy with is disgusting Norbit action picture? What appropriate to the manufacturers of huge Mama's dwelling house? whilst are human beings going to quit treating black women individuals as we are honest interest whilst it is composed of stereotyping, defaming and demeaning? I for am purely uninterested in it! it particularly is totally almost such as you should be skinny and blonde to get any style of admire or love in this society...and it stinks!!!

I just think america needs to chill out. Everything envolves racism in some form. I strongly do not agree w' these comments made, but if everyone wouldn't cause such a riff about it and move on to whats really important, america would be better.

Its not a double standard. Thomas didn't use the b word in the same context as Imus used the h word. Tune in tomorrow for
