This is serious, i honestly hate watching leafs games when they are somewhere in america and the announcers sound like that boring dude from American Pie,

"Oh look our team has the puck, i think hes shooting, oh look we scored"

yet in canada it's

" Sundin.. WITH THE PUCK, SHOOTING, AND HE SCORREEESSSSSSS MATS SUNDIN! GIVES THE LEAFS A 1-0 LEAD! LETS WATCH THIS AGAIN! WHAT A BEAUTY!"

This isn't anything Biast, it's just what i notice watching games when their in like I think one was Against Jersey, and stuff, but seriously, Sometimes they are borrrrinnggg

There are some great American announcers
I enjoy listening to Rick Jeanneret in Buffalo (is there anybody who doesn't), Jeff Rimer is good in Columbus, Mike Emrick is good (He's the guy in Jersey - and he's in the Hall of Fame, Joe Bowen isn't), Mike Lange in Pittsburgh is legendary, Dan Kelly Jr (now in Chicago) and John Kelly (St. Louis) are both amazing, but then their father was a hockey broadcasting legend. I really enjoy Dan Rusanowsky (or is it an i at the end) in San Jose as well.

I miss Fred Cusick in Boston, Gene Hart in Philadelphia, Bruce Martyn in detroit, Pat Foley in Chicago, and Jiggs McDonald on the Island

In fact, the only broadcaster I hate is Dennis Beyak

Chris............I know hockey...........I live and breathe hockey. I don't have a high school diploma. So for geography.........I'll pass!

Bob, I based it on their hometeam as I doubt Chris would know which ones were American or Canadian-born

Well Chris, not the Avs commentators. I remember when we had Foppa, our commentator (Peter McNab) would always yell "PETER THE GREAT, PETER THE GREAT, PETER THE GREAT!!!!" when he scored. Now, whenever Budaj makes a great save he says that too. He's really energetic.

~

Chris how were you a Nordiques fan??? You were like 3 in their last season in Quebec. Weren't you?

~~

Oh, I see. BTW, when are you gonna change your avatar? You should put a leafs logo or something, like the old-school logo.

~~~
OMG, OMG, OMG, October 3rd??? That's the Avs home opener!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAY! I'm going to that game! Looks like we both have something to look forward to on the 3rd!
~~~~

LMAO @ "freakin bucket of knowledge"!!! Well, the Avs opener is against the Stars. The Leafs opener is against the Senators also on the 3rd. Chris, quickly!! What is the capital of Chad???? GO GO GO!

~~~~~
OK, I'm getting on messenger.
~~~~~~

Ok, it seems as though people did not understand me, lol. Chad is not a person, it is a country in Africa. And the capital is NOT what Chris thinks it is, lol, it is the city N'Djamena. I just randomly chose the country of Chad because it was the main article on Wikipedia today, and that's how I know.

You're saying American hockey announcers use the phrase "oh look" repeatedly, and yet you claim not to be "Biast"?

The word is biased. Yahoo does kindly provide you with a spell check feature which, if used, would have caught that.

Are they better in Canada? I don't know - but next time the Leafs are playing in Carolina, go on the web and listen to Chuck Kaiton, the radio guy down there. He's not boring!

You claim to be a Leafs fan, but you have a Sabres logo?

I like to watch a ton of highlights during the season so I'm gonna agree w/ you for the most part. I do think, however, that the Flyers announcers are great. He is really into the game and isn't as boring as some other announcers.

Oh and I've heard the Avs announcer before, he goes nuts when they score.

Low scoring is why I don't watch soccer or hockey. How many times to we have to watch these guys run back and forth across the field before someone frickin' scores a point? It's got nothing to do with the announcer.

I'm with Bob Loblaw concerning Rick Jenarette. Gawd, I hate that guy. I'd rather listen to some Brazilian soccer commentator. Give him some valium or let him cover baseball for a while, maybe both.

Nice logo you should keep it lol! I would say Rick Jenarette is a great american announcer but that is only partially true. He announces for the sabres but is actually from ontario. He is the best in the game in my opinion!

Sorry dude, but Bob Cole and Harry Neal are about as bad as it gets. Nasily whiney voice with a huge blue and white bias. The best annoucers are the french ones, because I have no f-ing clue what they are saying.

Bob RJ is Canadian born, I think he still lives in Canada.

So do you think Bob Cole is any good? I hate listening to him. He may have had some talent at one time but he's completely lost it in the last few years. Time Jim Hughson (sp?) got the job.
I miss Danny Galavan.

The only one I'm really familiar with is Mike Lange, and he is fantastic.

Actually nevermind, the guy that replaced him for the Pens tv broadcast is horrible... damn you steigerwald!

To answer your original question I shall ask one of my own (in true 5th grade style); why does your mom suck so much?
