I wish I had the answer. There are barriers and diplomatic issues with splitting the country up and simply leaving and watching the wholesale slaughter of innocent civilians doesn't sit well with me..............

God only knows. Eventually they'll have to figure that out for themselves. Partition would have worked 85 years ago, but not now. A too-rapid withdrawal is too horrible to contemplate. I thought the initial invasion was not well thought out, and I was disappointed at the way the thing was conducted from the end of the conventional war until Petraeus took over, but I don't see a more palatable alternative than what we have now. Fortunately, it shows signs of working.

We're in this mess... Needn't have been this way. I fear for my countrymen if I'm-in-need-of-a-nuke decides to attack 'em.

If I were in charge of everything...

No more building of **** in Iraq; it's all war.

Anything coming in from boarders expands the war into those countries; and it will be devastating for them, b/c we're not using men, we're using big bombs to demoralize the entire country(s).

Pull that PoS constitution off of the table; let them use ours - we appear to be done w/ it.

Leave and let the Iraqi people sort out for themselves what kind of future they want to have. We took out their dictator and gave them democracy why not give them a chance to use it.
