Your neighbors are feeding on your fear(s), so do let them. Call animal control the next time it happens. You don't have to give your name by the way.
When others are being bullies it is time to either walk away or get help.
I used to have a neighbor (in GA) that would get drunk & shoot off his rifle & dare folks to report him. I told him if he kept it up I would report him. He called me several choice names, flipped me the bird & walked away. Few nights later he was drunk & having fun with his gun. I reported him. Law came out & arrested his backsides. He wanted to know who reported him. I stepped forward and said, "I did!" The other neighbors cheered. I put a bully in his place. When he got out of jail, his wife had taken off with the kids & the bank had repoed his house. Never saw him again.
It could have turned out different-true! But I refuse to let people like that rule the roost!

I don't think you can count on much help, it is not a good idea to feed feral cats and not take the time or money to spay and neuter, they just keep multiplying and causing more problems and more 'wild' cats. They will breed and have another litter while the last litter is still nursing. Choose some and neuter and spay and have animal control trap the others. Dogs will normally chase a cat no matter what the owners age is. Not trying to be nasty--have several friends that spay and neuter stray cats all the time and either keep them in their barns or find homes for them.

In my area there are strict leash laws. If their dog is coming onto your property you should call the police or animal control. The sooner this is taken care of the better. Have you talked with your neighbors? Could you tell them that you are not only concerned about the cats, but the safety of their dog?

Hold on a minute...

So, their dog is a problem but your "many wild cats" are not??? How is that?

The animal control people are not going to look kindly on either one of you. If I lived nearby I'd be reporting you too. Clean up your own situation, then deal with the neighbors.

peace

Hasn't the trailer got a skirt? I know a lot of people with mobile homes, and they have all enclosed the bottom of their trailers so that no one (including dogs) can get under them because it could play havoc with the plumbing.

So, have you thought of putting up some privacy lattice, and leaving a couple of small escape hatches for your cats? Depending on the size of the neighbour's dog, it probably wouldn't be able to get into a cat sized opening.

How do you get away with having "Many"ferrel cats under your house. I would not call anyone to complain you might get fined or cited, where do ALL those ferrel cats go potty? Peee uu. Not being judgemental! You would not be allowed to have ferrel cats any where near here unless you are wayyyyyyyyy out in the country.

I would call the animal shelter. Let them handle it. I would just call and tell them you have dogs on your property that are trying to harm your animals.

heck no, don't put up with it! You don't have to. Depending on where you live, look up Animal Control, call them and tell them your problem. If no animal control. call the sheriff or
whatever law enforcement you have there. Here where I live in Texas, we have a leash-law and you have to have your dog contained in your yard, house or on a leash. Good luck !

Yes, you can call the animal shelter and complain. I think it is against the law not to tie them up in their own yard.
