YES!!! Anoles are not scavengers, they are used to live prey. Wriggling and jumping around is what triggers the feeding response.

ARe you kidding?! Always remove dead food from your reptiles cage. And never let live crickets hang out in your pets enclosure for any long period of time. They'll end up killing it. The dead ones may cause harmful bacteria to grow , which will in-turn, kill your anole. And don't forget to feed and gutload your crickets. Your pet is only going to be as healthy as the food that it eats.

Yeah, you HAVE to have live crickets for anoles. I own 5 anoles, and NONE of them would eat that "anole food" the pet store sells... Anoles enjoy the hunt, and they like staring down their prey. Live crickets are the BEST way to go. :)

Yes, most reptiles won't eat dead ones--they know something is wrong with them, like disease. Just get the smallest crickets for the anoles and don't forget to gutload the crickets first.

you should go to your local pet store and ask the people their they are really help full, and you should put live crickets in their and put Anole food in their habitat i feed the anole food to my hermit crab and she seems to like it, so try the anloe food (it should have Pet Meds on the label) well good luck with your green anoles!

it is not going. I surely have heard that some will. The freeze-dried styles of bugs which you should purchase at a puppy shop in a jar will supply off an aroma whilst they are moistened to help entice the reptile to them. i attempted it with my toddler gecko and it ate some yet fairly didn't wish plenty to do with it. maximum reptiles don't have great eyesight and hunt on circulation of their prey. there is fairly basically one thank you to make sure....purely supply it a try
