This is how small our town is, we have one school district here that is letting school out early tomorrow so the towns people can travel 3 hours 1 way to attend a football game....Students are happy about it but I think that is just plain crazy....
The elem, jr and high school are all connected to each other and they all share the cafteria...not at the small time. You can even fit the whole district inside the gym....That is how small this town is

small...only 2,500 people in the whole town..we get out of school early for a parade/festival..we get the 1st day of deer hunting season off. the middle school is connected to the high school, 1 district and the elementry is somewhere else..only 2 grocery stores, 1 walmart, 1 medical center(outside of the town)..no ambulences..you can't even call 911 here, maybe 2-3 police men, only 1 stoplight in the whole town, railroadtracks all through town. only one main street, alot of trees/forest land..1 bowling alley, like 50 churches, this town is only like 2 sqaure miles..

I can't even imagine it, but I think it must be very nice there. I don't live in a town; this is a huge city and getting larger. Houston has 5.2 million people and over 20 school districts, including the suburbs.

The town limit sign of my town says Population: 125. 6 of whom are related to me. So there are about 119 people in this town besides me. I don't think we have a school... there's a bar and a gas station. Almost everyone here is a washed up, drugged up ex-hippie.
Yeah.
Now I'm depressed.

Dizz, I grew up in a small city the place all and sundry knew us or our father and mom. I lived in a small Canadian city for college and enjoyed each and all of the museums and paintings galleries and theatres tec. yet merely ought to no longer adjust to residing in a city. Used to get excited on the bus journey abode while i might start up seeing greater forests and rock cuts of the Canadian preserve. stressful components for me with city existence have been athe anononymity, people walk by employing one yet another with out even assembly one yet another's gaze. All that cement and pavement and so little eco-friendly and grass etc. The noise. The smells. the dimensions. :) Thank God i'm a rustic woman!

LOL It sounds like my town, only about 1400 people. No stop light and only 2 main streets, in fact most of the streets in town aren't even paved except for Main street. Gotta love it. Oh I forgot to mention that we do have 5 bars, lol.
