Change is always better, but our attachment sometimes make us emotional not to accept a change

Well, like most people, I don't like it much. But I think I accept it okay. A while back, a study was done (I believe it was published in Psycology Today) on folks over a hundred years old... and one of the main things that everyone had in common was the ability to accept change. In fact, the results suggested that it played as vital a role as diet in longevity. I don't particularly want to live to be that old myself, but it is interesting food for thought...

If it's good change I embrace it happily. If it's bad change I try my best to keep an open mind and try to make it work.

by letting go of your preconcieved notions of what should happen.

separating yourself from the outcome.

cognitive dissonance: "this new way is really superior because....list positives"

identify and cherish a common thread that will exist pre,during and post change...

and my fav is,,,,

you just hold it in your hand next to your bills

(get it...change...money...embrace)

Change can be good can be bad. I like change in some things but not others.
