i'm under contract and my phone broke how much would it cost to get out of contract so i can get into another one?

We have droped Alltell after the contract was out and they still charge us . We still use the old number on Cingular now but Alltel still charges for it too.
They have turned us in to the credit buroughs and collection agencies. yet they have no valid contract.

Verizon is $175, so I am sure they are all comparable. Why not just get the phone replaced by Alltel??

around $200.00 dollars, if its a two year contract!!!!
