I had that happen....A friend and my best friend started hanging out together since I was working nights and couldn't join them. They fell in love, got married and moved half way across the country. I'm happy for them but I miss them since we don't communicate even with e-mail as much as we did when we were all in the same state.

behind my back? if they were hanging around in secret, I would be curious as to why. I have no problems with people making friends. the "behind my back" part is the part that I don't get. why would someone want to hide the fact that they were friends?
It wouldn't bother me. I am totally not the jealous type, much to the distress of my husband, who would love it if I got jealous of women friends he has.
It's just not in me.
