It's how you use technology that counts. Also what are the ethics behind the movement and the era.

But I must say technology is dependent on the ethics and mind frame of society which constantly changes. It's like having issues about giving a 150 year old human new body parts so that they can live 100 more years when in this world there are too many people on it. The same goes for building weapons of mass destruction. It is ethical to create weapons to kill humanity a million times over from light weight materials?

I would say if technology stuck on the lines of rebuilding body parts for people in accidents and curing cancer, that's okay. Nothing more. Leave human things to humans and not machines. Right now technology is focusing on how to destroy each other and that's what I'm afraid of. It should never have gone this far.

I personaly am starting to lean towards drawbacks of technology. I hear it betters our lives and we need to satisfy our curiosity and keep 'creating things' but i am to the point where I feel that everything we are doing isnt helping us anymore. Why cant we change our way of thinking and see the world just the way it is and enjoy it while we are here rather than always trying confuse it...

Hmm, more liesure time, better health, more knowledge -or- hunting, scavanging and gathering, sickness, bad teeth and early death and finally living in superstition.

Not much of a shoot off, if you ask me.
