For school I have to describe how I recognize my emotions I've felt lately (along with other things) but how do you explain how you recognize emotions? You just know how you feel...?

We recognize our emotions based on how we act. for instance, an obvious example, is if you are sad you cry. Do you ever feel more outgoing than other times? yes, therefore you recognize emotions by how you represent yourself to others. You can also talk about how different people bring out different emotions, for instance if you are around someone who is goofy and has a good sense of humor then usually they bring out the goofy side of you.

Hope this helps

you have to accept physical truth before mental analysis of thought.

truly, your emotions are available in your experience all of the time.
we resist them because they are immediate and intuitive; hence before reason.
we fear anything that defies reason because it is beyond our illusion of control.

if what we feel disagrees with how we expect to feel or wish to feel, we will resist it, rationalise it, and hence not recognise the simple message.
this causes much unhappiness in the world.

if we are open and not judgemental; essentially, if we are honest, we can effortlessly experience our true emotional response.

many at this time cannot do this because of societal expectation and mental conditioning.

but if you can truly listen, your emotions reveal themselves.
you cannot explain this; you just know directly how you feel.

watch a child; they do not bother to kid anyone, including themselves, how they feel!

good question, thankyou.

They're usually the very -first- reaction that you have to a situation, circumstance, a piece of news, something someone says, etc. And, upon further thought, consideration, and deliberation, they're almost always wrong or inappropriate ☺
