HEADS UP, PEOPLE!!!
Treason is not a crime which would be punished by impeachment. The penalty for treason, is at the very least imprisonment, and in some (past?) cases death.
THINK IT THROUGH!!!

Neither Bill Clinton nor Richard Nixon were charged with or guilty of the crime of treason.

Ok, so I may have been wrong! But now the question is if impeachment is the means/procedure of prosecution, what should be the punishment? Would it be enough that the person who is commissioned with the greatest responsibility to the United States Constitution, should bear a penalty less than that experienced by previously charged with that crime?
