The Cadfael series is based in Shewsbury on the border - I am sure some episodes venture into Wales.

No, although some historians think Arthur was a Welshman, so some of the more authentic versions of the legend could be said to be set in Wales.

Unfortunately there are virtually NO authentic versions of the historic Arthur.

And no one has (yet?) filmed Gerald of Wales' travelogues, The journey through Wales and The description of Wales. THOSE would make cool movies!
