I met someone who had a chip on their shoulder, but it was because someone had spilled the bowl of potato chips.... sorry.

I'm short..but I have no chip on my shoulder because of it. Never held me back from doing what I wanted. I have, however, met people with 'chips on their shoulder' before..including a few women. I have become quite adept at removing those chips too...

Awww, that's cute. I've met a ton of people with chip's on their shoulders. Believe me, they weren't the happiest of people either. Their usually caused by the simpler things in life like girlfriends/boyfriends, homework, their hair, or some other random thing. When I come across them I usually just try to perk um up and see the better side of life. I just love putting a smile on people's faces!!

It's called the Napoleon Syndrome.
It seems a lot of the shorter guys were picked on or made to feel less than human when they were younger. They probably had to fight to prove they are a big, strong, manly man because of the torment or self esteem they lived through.

I met two. One felt that he was much smarter than people gave him credit for (he wasn't0 and got upset when people made fun of his ignorance.

Another was a woman who felt she was sexy beyond belief, but could not understand why no one wanted to date her (completely ignoring her shrill, hideous personality)
