Johnnie Got His Gun is the best pick. It's pretty anti-war in general. A young man is wounded in war, losing both arms and legs, and left blind, deaf and dumb. He is stuck in limbo, trapped within his own mind and tries to communicate with the outside world - the nurses and orderlies who care for him. Good book. By Dalton Trumbo.
If it doesn't have to be just about Vietnam, there's always A Separate Peace, Red Badge of Courage, and Farewell to Arms.

you have intermixed 2 distinctive questions; a million conflict and peace as that coverage dispute performed out over the Viet Nam conflict 2The public loss of believe and self belief in national government earlier and after Watergate, and Pres. Nixon's resignation. the great adjustments you verify with resulted from Watergate, no longer the Vietnam conflict. look up the commonplace public opinion tables in G. Lewy's e book on Vietnam public opinion. Even the draft-age cohorts, 18-25 continually favourite the conflict; it exchange into the small minority of scholars in some colleges that have been given all the media interest, and appeared to be maximum persons. look at Gallup opinion polls in later '70s and the only national company that had a majority of public help exchange into the U. S. militia, non the political aspects, or events. Used motor vehicle salesmen have been theory greater truthful than politicians.

Born On The Fourth of July - and it's a true story! The guy starts out very patriotic, ends up crippled and an anti-war protester.

The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien. I don't recall if it's overtly anti-war, but it does show all the harsh effects on the soldiers.
