To waste time, its amusing, its fun to ask questions you probably already know the answer to but want other people's input and to ask questions you wouldn't ask someone in your real life.

It's fun to try to deal with thought provoking questions.
Of course you have to deal with a lot of chaff to get to that occasional kernel. But that's ok, I guess.

hmm...i never thought about it before. i guess it's because i can sort of talk to people without actually having to talk to someone, and it's anonymous.
