so the jena victim, barker, was telling people how a black kid got manhandled by a white guy. i'm sure that riled up the jena 6 and that is why they beat him up. but I wonder what was said during the confrontation. did it go something like this:
barker, "you got manhandled by a white guy. you people think you can kick every ones a**!"
bailey(he was at the party who got into a fight), "n*gga, please! I'd kick yo a** and yo honkey friends a**!" '
barker,"yeah..... whatever, man! you people are all talk!"
so bailey goes and gets five of his friends, including the known criminal bell, and jumped barker.
do you think it went down like that?

bullrider, you are talking about bailey who, WITH HIS FRIENDS, wrestled the white guy who had the gun to the ground and took the gun, didn't report it to the police, but took the gun home with him. why take a gun home with you if you are not going to keep it?

They are pissed cause they did the crime, and NOW think that they shouldnt do any time... lol go figure..... I cant believe they are trying to justify such criminal behavior...

The Law cares less what was said or if provocation was involved. The Law sees only one thing: six kids worked together as a team to beat up one kid---a savage act that could have KILLED that one kid, who is a VICTIM.
How can anyone reasonbly aruge injustice against Jena 6?
They all got their adult convictions tossed, yet they ALL face serious 2nd degree battery charges, set for juvenile offenders. They'll soon get their court date--and from there: who knows??? Doubts exist ALL six will be found innocent.
The remaining Jena 6 still in jail is there because he violated his conditions of PROBATION from an earlier criminal juvenile charge he committed; the guy's NO angel here. A superior court judge asked why this guy was in jail, heard the reasons explained to him and agreed the guy stays in jail.
End of story. Jena 6 show is OVER people, move on w/ life.

The Jena 6 SHOULD go to trial for what they did.
But so should the white kids who committed similar crimes against the black kids.....and why wasn't someone disciplined for the nooses in the tree?

Bell has also been charged with assaulting his own grandmother and stealing her SS check.
I also heard that Bell's mother is driving a new Lincoln.
Odd how you can have the whole American community as support, but can't get anyone to bail you out of jail. I think Jesse and Co. wanted him there to help their Rainbow Parade.

NO. Weeks before a black kid was beat up by 3 white guys and a white kid pulled a gun on 3 black kids. They got his gun from him and ran.He got nothing...they got arrested for stealing his gun.

it is irrelevant, six people beat down one because they didn't like what he said. They did it in a public place, with several eye witnesses, and got away with it because of a flimsy racial trump card.
Assault is assault, but apparently that doesn't matter in a situation like this.

Jackson...well the white kids did the crime and now they are not doing the time...so i sure you guess that's fair also.
sure Jackson...for one the nooses on the tree IS a hate crime. its a federal crime. also, some white kids beat up one of the black kids with a glass bottle.
