Yes, love is sweeter the second time around. I know this for a fact since I gave it a whirl and have married a wonderful man. I did give it a chance and WON!!

I think it can be do to the fact that you will maybe appreciate it and not seek out imperfections and stress on the little things. I think the second time around you wouldn't take anything for granted and be in love to be in love. Love like there's no tomorrow and so on! I do think it can be lovelier if it doesn't work the first time heck try again!!

I love that second remark. Jolly scared. It should be more wonderful the second time around, as Frank Sinatra says in his song.

I tried it, it did not take. He was a wife abuser, but I got out.

I do believe a person needs a mate for life and they are hard to find. I think I must not be meant to have one.

I was married twice when still a teen. Last time for 21 years.
I've been divorced for 27 years. I would like to think that there is a Mr. Wonderful out there somewhere for me. If not, that's okay too. So how about the 3rd time around justme? lol

I am very afraid to get involved with anyone. I sure do like my freedom and not having to listen to someone elses problems (I know this sounds selfish). I work with others all day and listen and encourage. When I get home, I hit the couch and watch TV and zone out. It would have to be someone very special to grab my attention.

It certainly can be better the 2nd time around. We've got more experience, have learned some lessons the hard way and our wisdom can help us make better choices.

My first husband of 26 years must have thought so. After we divorced, he married three more times before he died.

My husband is finally perfect. No man could be better.

If he went to his reward today, I don't have the desire or time

to train another. This time it would be an old man and

geeese they are so set in their ways. I'm not scared, I just

can't imagine myself with another 24/7. I like my alone time.
