Is it because you don't like the answer or the person ,
or because you want more of a "thumbs up" average for your answer ?

I tend to ignore bad answers , I give a lot of thumbs up and I give thumbs down to really obscene pictures or language.

I usually just give thumbs down for blatantly horrible answers. If they are really out there, I report them. I try to refrain from giving answers just because of difference of opinion, and I wish that others would do that too!

I never give a thumbs down unless the answer is rude or inappropriate not because of the person. I have come across many questions and answers that I don't necessarily agree with but I always try to look at an answer from both sides. So, even if I don't particularly agree doesn't mean I'll give a thumbs down.

If I do it is because the answer is uncalled for and rude!! Mostly, I give thumbs up because everyone has their own opinions, just because I don't agree doesn't mean they are right or wrong!!

because i do not agree with their answer..that is the only time i give a thumbs down and i only do it if i really disagree

if i like the answers i give thumbs up,
but if i dont like the answers i just ignore it, i dont give thumbs down...its their answers, its their opinions...we have different perceptives so i dont give thumbs down only thumbs up.
