fox news channel...the only unbiased news source

There is no such thing as unbiased. Everyone has a bias about something, although some people are more pronounced in their opinions than others.

The best way to avoid bias is to triangulate your news sources. Read or watch several different sources and at some point you will come to a central conclusion about news and events. By triangulating you get a more rounded- and in depth- view of the world.

I believe there is information that is unbiased, but don't expect to see it from the networks despite their high-standards rhetoric. To combat this "biased information" you need to arm yourself. I would read some books on logic and communications. The conservatives seem adept at using logical fallicies and false stories to bolster their positions. Read "Lies and Lying Liars..." (All Franken). In addition, look for motivations of your sources. Major media has traditionally been biased toward monied interests.

For example, the 9/11 Commission Report (and the media follows this report to a t) has glaring errors and huge gaps. It barely mentions the third building that collapsed on 9/11 in NYC (WTC7) despite the fact that that was part of the commission's charter. Take a look at Professor Steven Jones who put together a careful, scientific, and thoughtful analysis of the building collapses. Look at the attacks on Professor Jones. They are nearly all personal attacks rather than credible and technical challenges to his methodology. I was able to verify many of his assertions using basic physics and by researching some personal accounts. By the way, there are small groups of technical people throughout the country who are meeting to discuss this truth about 9/11.

Take a look at the experts who fall on either side of the "9/11 Truth" movement. Who is obfuscating? Who has presented clear and verifiable arguments?

Getting to the truth is difficult and can be disorienting at times. I suggest that you try it out Neo. Nobody said it would be easy.

We used to get unbiased reporting from the Big 3, but since they got taken over by big business, you really have to read a variety of sources on the internet to get the truth.
