My husband has been using steroids recently and has been getting very angry a lot of little things. I think it is due to the steroids because he usually isn't like this. Anyways, I asked him if wouldn't mind staying at home with the baby while I went somewhere with my sister for an hour and he got mad and hit me and pushed me against the wall and made me call my sister and tell her I couldn't go out. Is there anything I can do to calm his behavior? Its really getting bizarre. :(

Why is he taking steroids? is it for medical reasons? Under a doctors care or is he using them for other reason? They can make a person act like that And I wouldnt put up with it for 1 second.Dont ever let him hit you again no matter what the excuse is. If you were my daughter I would tell you to leave and I would be there in a second to get you and my grandchild out of there. Now please listen to me. Dont let him continue in this behavior

It is probally the steroids. But he shouldn't have hit you, regardless. Are you o.k.? I would have got the baby and went with my sister any way. Men can be real jerks sometimes. If he hits you again, call 911.

Yes, there is something you can do. Call the police, charge him with spousal abuse. He will get the treatment he needs to get off the steroids. If you don't..he will eventually turn against the baby as well. Is that a risk you are willing to take?

You can't control his behavior but you can and have to take action and get help. If you don't you and your baby are at risk.
This will only get worse and it is called Domestic Violence.
Not to scare you but....You could be charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor (your baby) if you do not take action.

It is the steroids and he is abusing you if you don't do something about this now it will continue. Eventually it will get worse because his body kill get used to the steroids so he will take more. You may try to make excuses for him because you love him but if you truly do you will get help for yourself, him, and your child.

it's called Steroid Rage. basically they black out and can possibly kill you. read the Article on the Wrestling Star Chris Benoit who killed his wife and son and then killed himself.

sounds like roid rage. he either needs to get help or you need to get yourself and your baby outta there. you're entitled to have a life and he shouldn't mind doing little things like that for you.
