No. Bettas don't get pregnant. What happens during the breeding process is: the male will squeeze eggs out of the female, then pick them up and put them into the nest he has created. This, however, can only be done with a 10 gallon tank, a rich diet for both fish and several weeks of pre-conditioning.

If your fish is swimming exceptionally fast and darting into things in her tank (walls, gravel, plants etc) she may have ich. This is known as flashing and it is a symptom of some diseases.

u no fish dont get pregnant they lay EGGS. the only way you can get baby bettas is if you see the eggs in her tank and take her out of it and put her in a new tank then put a male in for a couple of days, then take the male out and put him in a new tank then u will have 3 tanks 1 with the male the other with the female and the other with the babys and if u do brred then dont put the female back with the eggs she will eat the baby fish
