In my oppinion, as far as the 80's go, nothing beats "Wanted Dead Or Alive", by Bon Jovi. That song, is the kicker of the period. I am an expert on the 70's, so there was very little music in the 80's I cared for. Peace!

Its impossible to answer, because its all based on opinion. I think the song that defined the 80's was Quiet Riot's "Come On Feel The Noize" Guns N' Roses are my all time favorite band, so I say one of their songs personally.

There are WAY too many to pick just one. But I will say that Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N' Roses is one of the most original and at the time, had a new sound. Unlike anything else around.

that is so difficult to say and I must tell you that the lists like that, that talk about absolutes are stupid
In Elton's career you can find many more super songs, The Last song ( from that same period) would be equaly important. and many more.so for me, music is not about lists and top tens ( only for selling aspects), but what it stirrs in your soul and mind... that is the wonderful side of the music and art in general
