Is there something wrong with not being able to remain friends with people for too long?

I don't know why I do it. but its seems that I get bored of people that I've known for a while and I just move on to new beings. I have a group of friends now and I've known them for almost 3 years now, but it seems that I just don't see myself being close friends with them once I graduate college. I'm a junior now. I dont know why. Well I do have a hard time being close to others overall. Like I only give you a certain amount of myself but thats it. I like to move around and get to know new people and i hate being tied down. Is there something odd about that?

I think you are still changing, and finding out who you are, and what you want, and your friends are a reflection of those two things. That means that as you change, so will the people around you. It's a tough thing to come to terms with, but your friends are possible "phases", and not necessarily this deep friendship, it's just two people whose lifestyles accomodate eachother's for those moments. Hopefully, if you're lucky, you'll take maybe 2 friends from college that you will somewhat keep in touch with on a real level, and hopefully you'll take maybe one friend from each phase who will be the new you's friend too.

People who cannot tolerate, accept and then enjoy boredom lead very troubled lives.

People who dislike boredom tend to think a lot. Having friends is not conducive to thinking.

It is likely a belief that a friend equals being "tied down" that is the source of the problem.

Some people like to be alone, and do their own things.

There is something wrong with that, but unfortunately it isn't odd at all. That's not quite friendhsip if you ask me, which you do.
